What you will do

• ▹Build, operate, tune and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and the Istio service mesh to keep production highly available
• ▹Manage compute, storage, networking, permissions and security on Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud and AWS, using Terraform, Pulumi or cloud APIs for infrastructure as code
• ▹Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI, Jenkins or ArgoCD, create reusable templates, and roll out blue-green and canary releases
• ▹Improve the metrics, logs and traces stack so incidents are detected, located and reviewed faster
• ▹Develop infrastructure tools, Kubernetes controllers and internal platform services in Go or Python
• ▹Build high-performance core modules in Rust, such as intelligence ingestion, data collection, message forwarding and policy control for our AI platform
• ▹Set up inspection, alerting, change and incident processes that steadily reduce production risk
• ▹Help plan and deliver projects in enterprise networking, IDC physical servers, automated operations and AIOps

What we look for

• ▹Experience deploying, operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes, able to resolve common cluster and application issues on your own
• ▹Familiarity with Linux and computer networking, including system configuration, monitoring and security hardening
• ▹Experience with at least one major cloud (Alibaba Cloud, Tencent Cloud or AWS) and its compute, storage, VPC, load balancing, IAM and security basics
• ▹Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD or other CI/CD tools, including writing pipeline scripts
• ▹Able to write tools, scripts or services in Go or Python; for Rust work, familiarity with Tokio, Axum/Actix-Web and gRPC/Tonic
• ▹Understanding of monitoring, logging and tracing fundamentals, with practical experience
• ▹You analyze problems clearly, document what you find, drive fixes and run post-mortems
• ▹A strong sense of ownership, a habit of digging into root causes, and genuine interest in infrastructure engineering

Nice to have

• ▹Experience in infrastructure development, platform engineering or internal developer platforms, writing your own tools rather than only configuring them
• ▹A backend background and an understanding of how services go from code to deployment to production
• ▹Hands-on experience with Istio, Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK, Jaeger or OpenTelemetry
• ▹You have built Kubernetes operators, controllers, webhooks or other cloud-native components
• ▹Experience with IDC, physical servers, virtualization or enterprise network equipment, or building a data center or full node from scratch
• ▹Experience with multi-cloud management, cloud cost optimization, automated operations or AIOps
• ▹Data governance experience, including data modeling, data quality, metadata management and lineage
• ▹Open-source contributions, or awards in competitions such as ACM, CTF or cloud-native hackathons
